MENA Community Center is a non-profit organization that provides underserved Middle East and North African community in the Chicagoland area with vital services, benefits and programs aimed to further their social, economic and emotional wellbeing and help integrate them into the broader society. While our non-profit organization focuses on historically underserved MENA community, our doors are open to all who need our services, regardless of background. We have Arabic, Spanish, Bulgarian, and French speaking staff to assist our diverse clientele.
MENA provides numerous services, including but not limited to, assisting clients with gaining free or subsidized internet, utilities, healthcare, transportation for seniors, and low-income individuals. We are currently assisting dozens of people who are walking through our doors seeking assistance with employment by reviewing and revising their resumes, matching them with jobs through our community networks, and referring them to jobs outside our direct networks. We are tackling significant obstacles to services that have historically been faced by MENA communities by providing translation services to those who are not native English speakers. We are building the infrastructure for our upcoming programs.
MENA Community Center empowers underserved Middle Eastern, North African, and immigrant communities by providing culturally tailored services that improve social, economic, and emotional wellbeing. We strive to create a community where every individual has the resources and support needed to achieve lasting stability and thrive.
