LOW INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE (LIHEAP)

As of July 2025, MENA Community Center is an official Community and Economic Development Association (CEDA) intake site, helping low-income households access the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for urgent heating and cooling needs. While we don’t provide LIHEAP directly, we work closely with partners like MORE Services Inc. to make sure clients get the support they need.

To make the process easier for those facing travel or language barriers, clients can come to our office to fill out intake forms and submit documents. We then forward everything to LIHEAP sites and stay in touch with both clients and service providers to ensure applications move smoothly and are approved without delays.
